This is a cover illustration for Advanced Studio Classroom magazine. I did the main artwork for this cover using Maya and mental ray. The designer put in the text and some other effects, including that annoying little squiggly line.

Artwork for a magazine cover. I created the 3D image of the roller coaster with tracks. The layout artist patched it together with our photo of the coaster-riders, spiffed it up with some space effects, and then plugged the composite image into the cover layout.

Concept sketch for a new writing machine by AlphaSmart, originally photochopped together for an April Fool's joke over at the AlphaSmart discussion group.
12 hour flight. No wife and baby on this trip. Just me, my AlphaSmart Dana, and a caffeine-fueled flow of ideas. I even have these three seats all to myself. Nothing can throw me off track!
Wait a minute. That guy over there is playing Tetris. Can I play Tetris? Letsss…seee… here… Yes! And I have Minesweeper, too? And Super Mario Bros? And FIVE episodes of the Simpsons? Well, I guess I can take a break from all this work…
