Most laser cutting services should stock their own acrylic, but you could also send them some from a plastic supply place. The best glue for acrylic is IPS Weld-on. It actually fuses the pieces together at the molecular level. Awesome stuff, but work outside. The fumes are potentially toxic. Get Weld-on # 16. It has a syrup-like thickness that can help with small gaps and such. I got the acrylic from the laser cutter.
